Welcome to Jen's Junket! I'm Jen and I started this blog to keep a log of my adventures. I'm sure it will be a smorgasbord of things, like crafts, working out, recipes, traveling, etc.
I'm in my mid-20s and am a vet tech at an equine hospital in California. I love my job, although it is exhausting and challenging at times. I am a surgical tech, as well as doing normal vet tech things, like helping with appointments and taking care of our in-hospital patients. I'm a sucker for anything scientific and "nerdy", especially if it involves animals. I've ridden horses since I was 6 years old but never thought my career would be working with them until I was in my 20s. I got my B.S. in Animal Science, did two internships on Thoroughbred farms in Kentucky, and then came back to California to get my A.S. in Veterinary Technology.
I have a wonderful boyfriend, Joe, who is in the Air Force and is currently in Alabama for 2 months for training. I feel so blessed to have met him and look forward to what the future has in store for us.
I hope to provide an entertaining and educational blog, even if I'm the only one who finds it that way!
